New concentrations must be proposed in CIM as a new program and the New Concentration Form is required.

The Academic Program Planning Financial Worksheet is required as part of the New Concentration Form. Financial Worksheet Instructions are available.

The Substantive Change Checklist (email to Kate Humphries at skjessup@uncg.edu) is also required to determine whether notification to or approval from SACSCOC is needed.

New certificates must be proposed in CIM as a new program. No forms or authorization from the UNC System are required. Please complete the Substantive Change Checklist (email to Kate Humphries at skjessup@uncg.edu) to determine whether notification to or approval from SACSCOC is required.

If you would like students enrolled in the certificate to be eligible for financial aid, you must complete a gainful employment form and email it to Dawn Herrod, Director of the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, at dmherrod@uncg.edu
